In response to the previous post 'Finding your Genie in a Bottle'....I would like to carry it even further, the other step to achieving your desire is Unlocking the Genie Within. For some it may be the hardest yet most simple thing to do why; referring back to chapter 5 the 'Law of Good and Evil' from the book 'If Caterpillars Can Fly so can I' it defines 'evil' as challenges one has to experience before accomplishing the desired result.
What does this have to do with unlocking the genie?
First one most have a goal point...your desire/wants. Then identifying the genie within is only instilling in yourself that this achievement is possible....it has to be done...students have exercised it all the time when it comes to the examination season. The key to unlocking the genie is the focus applied to achieving the goal (pulling out the cork). In spite of hardships discouragement is shrugged off, believing that you can achieve is the fuel for the focus.
However, after exam some fail to continue to practice it. It doesn't stop its application should be continued throughout life.
I remember a time when I was down on my luck and depressed, out of desperation I took up a blank piece of paper and written on it the things I desired and the things I wanted to achieve.....this was a long time ago but guess what? Half of those things I have actually achieved already. I have also seen a program where people actually practice this. This is my message, however long it takes you can actually shape the course of your future with God leading of course for without him you wouldn't have the energy/zeal to progress through the hardships in accomplishing your goals...but that is another chapter.
